About

Follower Tactics is a Skyrim mod for player and follower tactics, follower equipment management, and follower training. It is inspired by similar systems in Dragon Age: Origins and Pillars of Eternity II.

• More varied follower combat AI that accounts for perks, enemy immunities, and magicka
• Tactics for the player and followers, with separate combat and idle rules
• Inspection of player and follower inventory, magic, skills, and more
• Follower equipment management
• Reversible follower training for levels, attributes, skills, perks, and spells
• SKSE plugin, no ESP, easy uninstall

Non-features

This mod focuses on understanding followers, setting their tactics, and training them. It is not a:

• Follower management framework
  • See options like Simple Followers Framework
• Combat AI overhaul
  • Underlying AI behavior is preserved. Tactics override it when a rule fires, and optional changes only affect how followers choose weapons and attack spells
• Gameplay rebalancer
  • Some followers are over or underpowered. This is not addressed.
